Start of Year Fair 2016
Our competition encouraged students to think about their posture when using mobile devices, as well as the danger of being totally immersed in mobiles whilst on the move. Safety Services staff were on hand to offer tips and advice plus a selection of handouts aimed to help with and reinforce the message 'Study Safely - Proper Posture Prevents Pain' by adopting a proper posture, changing it at frequent intervals and taking regular breaks from the screen.
The winner, Graziamarina Sinatra an undergraduate Chemistry student, pictured here receiving her prize from Professor Nalin Thakkar, Associate Vice-President for Compliance and Risk, bagged herself an iPad Air by correctly spotting the right approaches to using mobile devices.
