Microbiological Safety Cabinets
A microbiological safety cabinet (MSC) is a specialised piece of equipment designed to protect the environment and the user from airborne hazards of biological agents or material that may contain such agents.
They are not designed for the containment of radioactive, toxic and corrosive substances, unless specifically modified by the manufacturer.
