Safety Circulars / HASMAP Lessons Learned from audits

Safety Circulars and Lessons Learned from HASMAP Audits are written and issued by the University's professional health and safety advisors and may

  • summarise new legislation,
  • ask managers or safety advisors to take a particular action or provide a return of information,

so that decisions can be made about future actions (eg withdraw an item of equipment found to be faulty elsewhere, or provide information on the number and location of a specific hazard)

Since 2016 Lessons from HASMAP audits have been shared across the University with the expectation that Unit Managers will assess their current practice against the audit requirements and improve their own health and safety performance.

Both are listed by year of issue.
